Born in Cullompton, England, she was the daughter of the late Winter and Beatrice Taylor.
She was a secretary at O Cedar, Stratford General Hospital, and was also a pre-emigration secretery at Dartmouth Grammar School, Devon, England. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, St. Pauls Anglican Church, the Kiwins, the Anglican Theatre Guild, the SGH Hospital Auxiliary and the Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Wilcox, a son Alan and his wife Vera, of St. Catherines, and two grandchildren Michael and Stephanie. She was predeceased by a brother Charles Taylor in 1944.
Friends and relatives may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church March 16 at 11 a.m. with the Venerable John Spencer officiating. Cremation will follow with burial at Avondale Cemetery.
