He is survived by his wife, the former June Durrant; four daughters, Doreen, Geraldine, Wendy and Brenda of Owen Sound; one grandson, Chad; two brothers, Douglas and Wilfred of Truro, N.S.; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stewart of RR 3, Listowel; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the First United Church, Owen Sound, OS Garrison Sergeant's Mess, OS branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and a verteran [sic] of the RCA.
The body rested at Tannahill Funeral Home, Owen Sound, until Friday, June 20. Funeral was conducted by Rev. Gordon Merkley of the First United Church, Owen Sound. Royal Canadian Legion service was held at the funeral home Thursday evening, June 19.
Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
