Platter with leaves from the Don Valley in fall.

Technique: Slab of white clay, angled over a form (note some corners turned up more than others). Stem & leaves pressed in deeply. Red glaze in the stem, burnt orange in the leaves, yellow overall. Wandering Fire studio, 2004.

Checkerboarded square dish for a housewarming present. It celebrates the checkered floor of the recipients' bathroom, with black & white bath bombs & gels.

Technique: white clay slab over a form. A checkerboard of newspaper squares used as a "mask", painted over with black slip. Clear glaze. Wandering Fire studio, 2004.

Dishes for sushi.
Technique: Bowl is white clay, wheel-thrown. Plates are slabs, formed on small styrofoam trays. Both decorated with coils of white & black clay mixed. Glazes: one side green, other side Blueberry Wine. Wandering Fire studio, 2004.
